A pink stone façade and rounded edges create a sculptural yet functional landmark, paying homage to the city’s rich architectural heritage while introducing a fresh perspective.
Spanning 400 sqm, this mixed-use building features a vibrant commercial ground floor that activates the streetscape, while three residential levels above provide exclusive underroof apartments. Inspired by Solingen’s architectural evolution—from medieval fortifications and vernacular craftsmanship to colorful post-war modernism—the design balances history and contemporary urban identity.
The project fosters social interaction with fluid balconies, shared spaces, and inviting courtyards, creating a home that feels alive with movement and connection. More than a building, it’s a statement on urban living—where materiality, form, and community come together to shape a timeless architectural identity.
